Managing spam and viruses using sendmail
Using the built-in tools such as:- The check_* rulesets
- The access database
- Open relay checking
- How MILTER works
- How to configure MILTER
- The MILTER based MIMEDefang program to reject viruses
- The MILTER based SpamAssassin to reject spam

Class Requirements:
The class is oriented towards intermediate and advanced sendmail administrators. Experience managing and configuring sendmail is expected. It is assumed that the student understands general sendmail configuration including macros, classes, options and the use of M4 to generate configuration files. It is also assumed that the student can understand and write simple sendmail rules, but it is not required. If the student does not know how to write rules, then some parts of the classes will have to be accepted as boiler plates.Information To Take Home
